Originally from Doylestown PA, now based out of New York City, Lucas Ebeling is one of today’s finest young musicians. He grew up in a musical household and started playing the drums at 10 years old, learning by jamming in his dad's punk-rock band and then forming his own metal band. At 16, Lucas shifted his focus and began playing professional jazz gigs in the Philadelphia area. During this time, he learned from and was mentored by Philadelphia musicians, Larry Tamanini, Mike Boone and Byron Landham. By 2016, Lucas left home to attend New York University as an Honors Scholar. At NYU he studied music with jazz royalty Lenny White, Billy Drummond and Alan Broadbent.

Lucas's love for all styles of music allows him to maintain an active and versatile performance schedule in NYC. He has performed and recorded nationally and internationally in a wide range of musical settings including jazz festivals, jazz clubs, off-broadway musicals, rock and blues concert halls, radio shows, church worship, and private events.

Notable Performances Include: Governor's Ball NYC, Blue Note NYC, American Museum of Natural History, The Django, NuBlu, Rockwood Music Hall, American Theatre of Actors Inc. (Off-Broadway), Telluride Jazz Festival, Denver's Dazzle Jazz Club, New Orlean's Jazz Educators Conference, Paris' Duc Des Lombards, WRTI Philadelphia, Clef Club of Philadelphia, Kimmel Center, Chris's Jazz Cafe.
